Cybersecurity Engineer

The role of the Cybersecurity Engineer involves providing essential support for both on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure, overseeing the network environment, and managing security and configuration functions within the organization.
This position actively engages in the design, planning, implementation, and ongoing support of all strategic initiatives related to IT security infrastructure, both in the short and long term.
It is crucial for the Cybersecurity Engineer to ensure that technology and configuration services align seamlessly with the overarching business goals.
The ideal candidate must possess an advanced skill set encompassing design, development, analysis, and technical expertise, contributing significantly to the organization's robust cybersecurity framework.
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security measures to safeguard the organization's data, systems, and networks.
Troubleshoot security and network problems, promptly responding to any system or network security breaches.
Ensure the protection of organizational data and infrastructure by implementing appropriate security controls.
Test and identify vulnerabilities within the network and systems.
Perform daily administrative tasks, generate reports, and maintain effective communication with relevant departments.
Experience Over 5 years of hands-on experience supporting extensive firewall, cloud, and/or on-premises infrastructures.
Extensive expertise, with a track record of over 5 years as an infrastructure engineer.
Proven proficiency with Azure Security, demonstrated through 5
years of practical experience.
In-depth familiarity and practical knowledge spanning 5
years in managing and supporting O365, Defender, and Intune.
Over 5 years of dedicated experience in the support of infrastructure operations, including essential tasks such as patching and ensuring network resilience.
Knowledge Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of technology infrastructures, showcasing expertise in Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits.
Exhibit comfort and proficiency in handling a diverse array of technologies, adeptly addressing multifaceted security challenges, and displaying a high level of competence in troubleshooting network issues.
Requirements Bachelor s degree in Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, IT Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in incident detection, incident response, and forensics.
Proficiency in Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Office 365 Security, Azure Security VSX, and Endpoint Security.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
