Administrative Assistant and HR Coordinator (Part-Time)

POSITION
Summary:
Coordinates hiring, onboarding/off-boarding, payroll processes, and headcount reconciliations;
This position will also be responsible for providing office functions such as organizing and maintaining hard copy and electronic files and documents, and performing other administrative duties that are needed.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Accurately processes all Employee information (on-boarding, terminations, status updates, leave of absence) and Leave of Absence HR Forms.
Generates and distributes New Hire, Termination, Rehire, and Employee Status Change
Researches and resolves inquiries regarding payroll and personnel issues
Assists with establishing and maintaining company HR policies
Immigration and legal petition process management
Responsible for collecting timesheets and producing ad-hoc reports for Managers
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to scheduling meetings, scanning, photocopying, and mailing.
Performs other duties as assigned, including special projects.
SPECIAL SKILLS, TRAINING, OR
Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2+ years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
1+ years prior work experience in an HR organization, and strong HR skills required.
Experience with HR On-Boarding System
Knowledge of Employee Immigration Process
Self-motivated, with the ability to manage priorities, & manage workflow, completing projects on or ahead of schedule.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Very proficient computer and internet user. Very strong skills on Microsoft Office Suite - advanced Excel skills a must.
Acute attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals and cultures at all organizational levels.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
