Sr. Manager, Tax

Job Summary:
Position is responsible for providing technical tax leadership, with an emphasis on international tax. Position is responsible for international tax matters for the Americas consolidated group including preparation and/or review of international portions of the consolidated tax provision, preparation and/or review of international reporting requirements for the US consolidated return and transfer pricing. Transfer pricing responsibilities include managing documentation processes, preparation and review of various analyses, providing guidance to Brand Finance and Operations teams and intensive interaction with HQ transfer pricing team. Responsible for transfer pricing in a complex inbound, multinational group. Position is responsible for ensuring timely compliance and reporting by the international affiliates in the group for both income and transaction taxes. Highly visible position especially regarding transfer pricing. Significant interaction with the business as well as accounting teams.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Transfer Pricing
Tax Provision and Compliance
International planning and analysis
International Affiliate matters
Timely and accurate preparation of analyses required for tax provision and tax compliance
Timely and accurate completion of TP analyses and required TP documentation
Effective coordination and communication with all TP teams in the Brands and at HQ
Successful completion of tax planning projects as assigned
Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders:
Brand Finance and Operations teams
HQ and Group Transfer Pricing team
International Finance teams
Group Accounting team
Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelors in Accounting
JD or Masters in Accounting
CPA, MST or LLM a plus 10 - 12 years of tax experience
Increasing international responsibilities
Transfer Pricing experience including in-depth analytical experience
Knowledge of 2017 Tax Reform, with emphasis on international provisions
Knowledge of BEPS and documentation requirements
Mix of corporate and CPA/law firm experience
M&A experience a plus
Microsoft Office Suite; high level of proficiency in Excel required
ERP Accounting systems; experience with JD Edwards and SAP a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects
Tax research skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
